While driving on the long road, you will be able to see gorgeous scenic views. Driving during off-peak hours should take no longer than a 3-hour drive, but during peak traffic, can take up to 5 hours.
The Middle Ground
If you're not looking to rush but equally not in the mood to waste precious hours driving, we suggest the US-421 S route. This route stretches for 142.7 km and takes no longer than two and a half hours to reach your destination when it's calm. If traffic is bad, you should still be able to drive and arrive under three hours easily, even with stop-and-go traffic. The US-421 S route is a fantastic way to experience Henderson, enjoy Dillon's Distillery, and pass through Wallace, a little town with lots of southern charm.
