Kentucky and Tennessee have many sights to see, including the Mammoth Cave National Park and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Nashville, also known as Music City, USA, is another excellent option for an overnight stop.
Route 3: I-77S, I-26E, and I-95S (1026 miles, approx. 16.5 hours)
This route is the coastal version of the Kentucky and Tennessee route. Starting from Ohio, you'll travel on I-77S for 201 miles, then merge onto I-26E for 238 miles towards Charleston, South Carolina. From there, get on I-95S and follow it for roughly 587 miles to Orlando.
Charleston has plenty of history and classic southern charm. The Magnolia Plantation and Gardens and the Charleston City Market are must-see attractions.
Route 4: I-75S (1037 miles, approx. 16 hours)
The last route on our list is the old faithful, I-75S. Begin on the highway in Ohio and follow it for 1037 miles straight through Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. Although this route doesn't feature many options to stop, it is the shortest and most straightforward one.
