Buffalo to Pulaski: A Road Trip to Remember
Looking to explore upstate New York? A great place to start is the Village of Pulaski. But how long will it take to get there from Buffalo? There are a few different route options, so let's break it down.
Route 1: The I-90
The first option is to take the I-90 East all the way to Pulaski. This route covers a distance of about 140 miles and should take around 2 and a half hours. It's a straightforward drive with few turns, so it's a great option if you're in a hurry. Plus, along the way, you can stop in Rochester to see the George Eastman Museum or grab a sandwich from the famous Nick Tahou Hots.
Route 2: The Scenic Route
If you're not in a rush and want to take in some of the beautiful views upstate New York has to offer, try taking Route 5 instead. This scenic route will take you along Lake Ontario, with plenty of opportunities to stop and snap a photo or take a walk. The total distance is about 150 miles, and it should take around 3 hours. On this route, we recommend stopping in Niagara Falls to take in the stunning natural wonder.
Route 3: A Middle Ground
The final option is a bit of a middle-ground between the first two. Taking Route 104 will take you up to Lake Ontario, and you'll get some great views along the way. The distance is about 125 miles, and it should take around 2 and a half hours. This route takes you past beautiful Oswego, where you can stop to see the Richardson-Bates House Museum or grab a bite to eat at the Press Box Grill.
Keep in mind, these drive times are estimates and could be impacted by traffic, weather, and construction.
No matter which route you choose, we recommend taking your time and stopping to explore along the way. Upstate New York has so much to offer, and you won't want to miss a thing. Safe travels!
