Road Trip: Cabot, AR to Springfield, MO

Route 1: US-67 N and I-44 E

Taking US-67 N and I-44 E is the most direct route from Cabot to Springfield. The drive is just over 5.5 hours, and it's perfect if you're looking to get there as quickly as possible.
If you're looking for a place to stretch your legs, stop off in Little Rock, Arkansas, and check out the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. In Joplin, Missouri, be sure to stop and enjoy the City of Murals, a walking tour of over 20 outdoor murals throughout the area.
Route 2: US-65 N and MO-13 N
Distance: 389 miles Time: 6 hours and 15 minutes
If you're looking for a slower, more scenic route, head north out of Cabot on US-65 N, and take MO-13 N from Springfield. The rice fields and rolling Ozark Mountains make for a beautiful drive.
For a lunch stop, grab a slice of pizza at Casey's General Store, a chain gas station throughout the Midwest that also serves fresh-made pizza. In Springfield, be sure to check out Fantastic Caverns, a massive underground cavern system that you can explore by jeep.
Route 3: US-70 W and MO-37 N
Distance: 409 miles Time: 7 hours
This route takes you through Memphis, and it's the longest drive on the list, but it's also one of the most scenic. Taking US-70 W up from Cabot takes you through the Mississippi Delta, which is famous for its blues music and southern dishes.
Memphis is a perfect stop for a BBQ lunch at Central BBQ. If you're a fan of Elvis, be sure to visit Graceland, his iconic home turned museum. In Springfield, be sure to check out the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, which features a massive aquarium, interactive exhibits, and animals from around the world.
